Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of jpforms (https://jpforms.com, "the Service"), operated by Premsan.
By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service is
- These terms govern your use of jpforms.
- By creating an account you agree to them.
2. Accounts
- An account is held by one person and its sign-in link must not be shared.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
- Keep your registered details up to date.
- You are responsible for your account, and anything done through it is treated as done by you.
3. Fees and payment
- Plans are charged monthly in advance in Japanese yen.
- A plan's limits are enforced by the service; exceeding them stops further forms rather than incurring an unexpected charge.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to its end.
Prices, payment timing, delivery timing and cancellation are set out in the statutory commerce disclosure required of Japanese sellers (/legal/tokushoho), which is published in Japanese.
4. What you may not do
When using the Service, you may not do any of the following.
- Anything unlawful, or contrary to public order and morals
- Infringing the rights or interests of Premsan, another user, or any third party
- Interfering with the operation of the Service or with another user's use of it
- Unauthorised access, analysis of it, or attack on the Service — except a vulnerability report made through the process we publish
- Placing excessive load on the Service by automated means
- Lending, transferring or sharing your account with a third party
- Registering false information
- Uploading a document you have no right to use.
- Using the service to prepare documents for other people as a business, which in Japan is reserved work.
- Entering a マイナンバー into any box.
Where we find conduct falling under these prohibitions, we may suspend or delete the account without prior notice.
5. Your data
- The forms you upload and the answers you enter are yours.
- We process them to run the service and for nothing else, and we do not use them to train models.
- You must have the right to use any form you upload.
6. Intellectual property
Rights in the Service and in the software, text and design that make it up belong to Premsan or to the rightful owner. These terms license you to use the Service; they transfer none of those rights.
7. Changes, interruption and discontinuation
- The service is provided as it stands, without a service level guarantee.
- You complete your own form. jpforms is a drafting tool: it does not prepare documents on your behalf, does not submit anything to any authority, and gives no legal, immigration or tax advice.
- What each box means is worked out by a machine and may be wrong. The Japanese is shown beside the English so that you can check it before you rely on it.
- A finished PDF is a draft for you to check, print and file yourself.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your particular purpose, that it will produce the results you expect, or that it will be free of defects. The same applies to outcomes caused by specification changes, outages or other matters outside our control at any service the Service interacts with.
9. Limitation of liability
- Where you suffer loss through our fault, our liability is capped at the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the loss, and is limited to direct loss of the kind that ordinarily arises.
- That cap does not apply where we acted with intent or gross negligence, nor to the extent it would be void under Japan's Consumer Contract Act where you are a consumer under that Act.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms in accordance with Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan. Where we do, we will post the changed terms and the date they take effect on this page. Using the Service after that date is agreement to the changed terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Any dispute between us arising in connection with the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the district court having jurisdiction over our principal place of business.
12. How to reach us
Enquiries about the Service, and any contact with us, are received through the operator disclosure form (/legal/disclosure).
